Han Shin Pocha, operated by The Born Korea, announced on the 22nd the launch of two new “Shin (辛) Menu” items emphasizing fiery spiciness: Tongtong Ojingeo Gukmul Tteokbokki and 1998 Gopchang Bokkeum.
The Shin Menu reinterprets the essential pojangmacha dishes, tteokbokki and gopchang bokkeum, in Han Shin Pocha’s unique style. Especially targeting customers who take pride in their spicy food tolerance (maepusim), these dishes feature a special sauce that delivers an addictive spiciness that keeps you coming back for more.
Tongtong Ojingeo Gukmul Tteokbokki is a one-of-a-kind dish that places a whole fried squid generously atop a saucy tteokbokki, allowing you to enjoy the spicy tteokbokki and crispy fried squid all at once. Depending on your preference, dipping the fried squid into the tteokbokki sauce offers a harmonious blend of savory and spicy flavors.
The 1998 Gopchang Bokkeum captures the nostalgic atmosphere of old pojangmacha by stir-frying fresh vegetables and high-quality pork gopchang in Han Shin Pocha’s special sauce. It reduces the unique odor of pork gopchang while emphasizing a fiery grilled flavor, boasting a savory and chewy texture.
The new menu items are available at reasonable prices at Han Shin Pocha locations nationwide.
