Children Traffic Accident Zero Promotion Contest Held
Changwon City in Gyeongnam announced that the "2023 Children's Traffic Accident Zero Promotion Contest," organized by the Green Mothers' Association, was held on the 21st at the small auditorium on the 2nd floor of the Gyeongsangnam-do Traffic Culture Training Center.
The event was attended by Jo Myeong-rae, the 2nd Deputy Mayor, Park Jung-hee, Chief of Changwon Jungbu Police Station, and heads of four organizations, along with Lee Hye-young, President of the Green Mothers' Association at Changwon Jungbu Police Station, and about 120 Green Mothers' members.
The '2023 Children's Traffic Accident Zero Promotion Event' organized by the Green Mothers' Association was held in Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam.
This contest was organized to look back on the footsteps of Green Mothers' members throughout the year and to encourage members who have spared no effort for children's traffic safety. It also contributed to establishing an advanced traffic culture through activities such as picket performances for zero children's traffic accidents, traffic safety education, and traffic guidance campaigns.
In addition, commendations and certificates of appreciation from the Mayor of Changwon, the Police Chief, and other heads of organizations were presented to members who demonstrated exceptional volunteer spirit for children's traffic safety.
Lee Hye-young, President of the Association, said, "Taking this contest as an opportunity, I ask citizens to take more interest in children's traffic safety and to practice traffic safety. We will continue to do our best to prevent children's traffic accidents."
Deputy Mayor Jo expressed gratitude for the efforts of the Green Mothers' Association and stated, "Going forward, Changwon City will provide unwavering support for establishing an advanced traffic culture that prioritizes children's safety."
