The committee members told city officials, “We hope the project proceeds smoothly so that it can contribute to improving citizens' health and promoting community sports.”

They then visited the Jinju K-Entrepreneurship Center (formerly Jisu Elementary School) and Seungsan Rich Village. The Jinju K-Entrepreneurship Center was established to trace the roots of the entrepreneurial spirit demonstrated by founders of leading domestic conglomerates, while Seungsan Rich Village, composed of Seungsan’s Rich Hanok and Jisu Nammyung Jinchwi Street, has recently emerged as a recommended travel destination where visitors can receive the energy (gi) of wealth. The committee members toured the sites and listened to explanations from curators and cultural tourism guides, having a meaningful time reflecting on K-entrepreneurship.

Chairperson Hwang Jin-seon said, “This visit was a meaningful opportunity to confirm Jinju’s K-entrepreneurship, and I hope that through the activation of tourism here, Jisu-myeon will develop into a world-renowned village of entrepreneurial spirit.”
