Surprise Appearance at Jo Guk's Book Concert to Show Support
When Asked About Dad's MBTI... "ISTJ"
Jo Min, the daughter of former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk, made a surprise appearance at her father's book concert. On the 17th, Jo took the stage during the 'A Walk Through Cho Kuk's Legal Classics' author talk event held at the Roh Moo-hyun Citizen Center in Jongno-gu, Seoul, after being called by the host.
According to the YouTube channel OhmyTV, about an hour and a half into the book concert, the host mentioned, "We have a special guest with us. (Former Minister Cho's) daughter is here." When the host asked, "This is a sudden proposal, but could you come up on stage for a moment?" Jo came up on stage holding her father's book, 'A Walk Through Cho Kuk's Legal Classics.' As she took the stage, the audience shouted, "Jo Min, Jo Min."
Jo opened by saying, "I came to the event to support my father." She added, "(The book concert) was much more fun than I expected, so I was watching it with the audience as one." When asked by the host if she had read her father's book, Jo smiled and replied, "To be honest, I haven't finished reading the whole book, but I've read more than half."
When asked to pick a memorable passage from her father's book, Jo said, "People tend to ask what is right and appropriate to do based on social status or position, but the book points out that the right question is what I want to do, what kind of person I am, and when I am happy. I think this resonates a lot with our MZ generation."

When the host asked about former Minister Cho's MBTI (personality type) results, Jo said, "I forced him to take it, and he came out as ISTJ." When asked to explain what kind of type that is, Jo described it as "an honest and upright logicalist." She added, "No matter what I do, whether good or bad things happen, my father has always been on my side. Whatever happens to him in the future, whatever he wants to do, I will always be on his side. I want to tell him to do whatever he wants."
Jo also said, "I feel sorry to the publisher's CEO, but I am the main culprit who interrupts my father's writing. When he is always writing books or papers, I pester him to stop and go watch a movie."
The day before the book concert, Jo appeared as a witness in the trial to cancel her admission to the Busan National University Medical School, testifying, "I thought it was fine since they said they would give a certificate of commendation from Dongyang University. I was on good terms with the president and we communicated via KakaoTalk." Afterward, Jo posted on her Instagram along with a video of the book concert, "I suddenly went up on stage and feel like I rambled, but thank you all for viewing it kindly. Thank you to everyone who came from afar."
