Daegu Facilities Management Corporation, Work for 5 Days from 20th to 24th

Avoid Commuting Congestion from 9 AM to 4:30 PM

Daegu Technopolis-ro will be partially closed from the 20th to the 24th due to tunnel cleaning work.

Daegu Public Facilities Management Corporation (Chairman Moon Gibong) announced on the 18th that tunnel wall cleaning work will be carried out for 5 days starting from the 20th along a total of 13.64 km of Technopolis-ro. The work involves removing dust and contaminants inside 6 tunnels and 2 underpasses.

The corporation explained that the cleaning work is being conducted to help ensure the safe movement of Technopolis-ro users and to reduce fine dust inside the tunnels.

To minimize inconvenience to vehicles using Technopolis-ro, the work will be carried out flexibly from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, avoiding peak commuting hours.

For this work, 21 personnel from the corporation and 6 cleaning machines will be deployed, focusing on cleaning tunnel walls, emergency guide lights, and drainage outlets to remove dust and contaminants inside the tunnels.
