Com2uS announced on the 17th that its summoning role-playing game (RPG) 'Summoners War: Chronicle (hereinafter Chronicle)' surpassed 10 billion KRW in revenue within a week of its global launch.
The main revenue regions for Chronicle are Thailand, Japan, France, the United States, Taiwan, and Germany, in that order. The ratio between Eastern and Western markets is approximately 6:4. It has achieved success in various regions including Asian countries such as Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Singapore, as well as Western countries like the United Kingdom, Australia, and Italy.
The cumulative global user count has exceeded 7 million. All key game metrics, including concurrent users and daily active users, are showing upward trends.
On the PC game platform Steam, where it ranked 11th in the global revenue overall ranking, Chronicle accounts for 23% of total revenue. It also generated 5% of revenue on Com2uS Group's Hive PC platform.
Chronicle's goal for this year is to achieve 100 billion KRW in global revenue. Having achieved 10% of this target within just one week, the company expects to reach its goal quickly.
Han Ji-hoon, head of Com2uS's game business division, said, "The combination of Com2uS's global service capabilities and excellent game quality is producing outstanding results. We will make Chronicle a global hit that surpasses the reputation of 'Summoners War' and establish a strong global intellectual property (IP) power."
