Additionally, Kim Do-seong, Executive Director of Shinhung Global; Kim Jong-seo, Manager of Shinsung Delta Tech; Park Kyung-won, Executive Director of K-Shipbuilding; Park Jong-woo, Deputy General Manager of Shinhwa Steel; and Jang Jeong-ik, Deputy General Manager of Hanwha Changwon Plant, each received commendations from the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy.
Since SeAH Changwon Special Steel was incorporated into the SeAH Group in 2015, CEO Lee led the company to achieve its highest sales record of 1.8 trillion KRW in 2022, and is currently promoting the establishment of the first stainless steel seamless pipe and tube factory in Saudi Arabia through the joint venture SGSI (SeAH Gulf Special Industries).
He was also recognized for his contributions to creating corporate social value by promoting various activities such as declaring 'GREEN INNOVATION' to practice carbon neutrality and ESG management in the steel sector through energy saving and carbon-free fuel conversion.
The Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry discovers businesspeople who have contributed to regional economic development and recommends them as candidates for government awards every year. CEO Lee previously received the 2022 Changwon Commerce Grand Prize awarded by the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
