SpaceCloud Selected for Two Consecutive Years as a High-Growth Real Estate Company in Asia Pacific

Living space platform SpaceCloud announced that it has been selected for the second consecutive year as one of the Financial Times (FT) Asia-Pacific High-Growth Companies 500.

The Financial Times and global research firm Statista announced the selection of 500 companies with the highest revenue growth rates between 2018 and 2021 across 13 Asian countries. SpaceCloud was selected in the real estate sector.

According to the announcement, SpaceCloud achieved an absolute growth rate of 239.7% and an average annual growth rate of 50.3% during the period, ranking 10th in Asia in the real estate sector. More than half of the 20 high-growth companies selected in the real estate sector were Japanese companies, while four domestic companies?SpaceCloud, Localstitch, Darak, and AlSquare?achieved top rankings. A total of 78 domestic companies were selected as Asia-Pacific’s top 500 high-growth companies this year.

SpaceCloud is a living space rental platform service that allows users to rent desired spaces by the hour. It efficiently connects people in need with 24 types of spaces such as practice rooms, party rooms, study rooms, and photo studios, contributing to the activation of idle spaces nationwide. The main customer base consists of the MZ generation, who are accustomed to independently using spaces according to their lifestyle and activity purposes.

Following its 6th place ranking in the property (real estate, urban space, and proptech) sector of the 2022 Asia-Pacific High-Growth Companies, SpaceCloud has been recognized as a high-growth company for two consecutive years. As a pioneering company in the domestic space rental market, SpaceCloud has established itself as the largest living space service in Korea with 1.3 million members and a cumulative transaction amount exceeding 100 billion KRW.

Since last year’s selection, SpaceCloud has been enhancing its services while continuing its brand communication strategy as a platform creating a user-centered real estate market. It is conducting user participation campaigns such as SCloud Hipster, Cover Week, and Concept Day, where users express their individuality and create content in their desired spaces.

Having been recognized for business growth in the Asian market for two consecutive years, SpaceCloud is also challenging global market entry. It is currently preparing service expansion with a dedicated project team.

Jung Suhyun, CEO of Anspace, which operates SpaceCloud, stated, “We feel that services connecting spaces broaden users’ choices in actively utilizing cities and create better possibilities. SpaceCloud will evolve into a platform that connects a wider and richer space base for users expanding with their own content.”
