Hwasun-gun Supplies Eco-Friendly Agricultural Product Packages to 60 Pregnant Women

Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 15th that it will continue to promote the ‘Pilot Project for Supporting Eco-friendly Agricultural Products for Pregnant Women’ following last year.

To this end, the county plans to support 60 pregnant women in the area with eco-friendly agricultural products from pregnancy to childbirth and weaning for the health of pregnant women and fetuses.

The application period is from the 27th of this month to the 14th of next month.

Pregnant women who wish to apply must prepare ▲birth certificate ▲pregnancy/childbirth confirmation ▲resident registration certificate and visit the Eup/Myeon Administrative Welfare Center Industry Team to apply. Online applications are also available.

The eligibility criteria are mothers who gave birth after January 1, 2022, or pregnant women currently residing in Hwasun-gun.

However, pregnant women with a middle income of 80% or less who are receiving support from the Community Integrated Health Promotion Project (Nutrition Plus) are excluded from support.

The package support items include ▲organic aquatic products ▲pesticide-free agricultural products ▲organic processed foods ▲pesticide-free raw material processed foods, and eco-friendly agricultural products worth 480,000 KRW per year (with a self-payment of 96,000 KRW) will be provided in the form of packages for 12 months per pregnant woman.

The 60 pregnant women eligible for support will be selected by a lottery based on the applicants recruited within the application period.
