International Rotary District 3630 International Service Team Conducts Overseas Volunteer Service

Promotion of Vietnam District Subsidy Projects in Region 9 and Region 11

The international service team of 11 Rotary Clubs (Andong, Andong Jungang, Dongandong, Andong Hahoe, Sae Andong, Seoandong, Yeongyang, Cheongsong, Andong Baekjo, Jinbo, Namandong) from District 3630, Areas 9 and 11 of Rotary International, held a ceremony for the donation of Love House Building (4 households) and delivered scholarships (to 50 people) and daily necessities (to 100 households) to extremely poor families in An Cu Commune, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from March 8 to 12.

In particular, Kim Insoon (Area 9 Governor Representative) and Kim Jaesoo (Area 11 Governor Representative), who led the international service team, expressed their gratitude to the members of each club for their continuous efforts and service to support the extremely poor despite the uncertain situation and high inflation caused by COVID-19 over the past three years, and pledged to continue striving so that such positive influence can be a light in dark places.

The Rotary Clubs have continuously carried out projects such as medical equipment and clean water support, and Love House Building in countries including the Philippines, Mongolia, and Vietnam internationally. Domestically, they are a volunteer organization that practices exemplary service through scholarship delivery, Love House Building, and various volunteer activities.
