The Value of ChatGPT Depends on the User
ChatGPT was useful for summarizing already known information. However, since its accuracy sometimes falls short, a 'secondary fact-checking' process is essential. It is difficult to fully trust the information provided by ChatGPT, so the need for experts who can correct information at any time remains.
In conclusion, the usefulness of ChatGPT 'varied depending on the task.' Tasks requiring flawless fact verification, that is, those needing specialized knowledge, leave little room for AI involvement. On the other hand, AI was far superior to humans in creating productivity tools that replace simple tasks and quickly compressing and acquiring common knowledge.
The value of ChatGPT is likely to depend greatly on the user's ability to apply AI. On the premise that one experiments and considers which parts of their usual work to streamline with AI, AI finally demonstrated its usefulness.
However, since AI technology is still rapidly advancing, it seems necessary to maintain an 'open' attitude toward its possibilities. This is because ChatGPT is based on the older model 'GPT-3.5' developed by OpenAI.
