"Industry-Leading" BMW Launches Vehicle Warranty Extension Program

BMW Group Korea announced on the 15th the launch of its vehicle warranty extension program, ‘BMW·MINI Warranty Plus Premium.’ According to the company, this program covers the most items in the industry.


This warranty program is a customer care program that not only extends the vehicle's free warranty period but also considers various situations that may occur while driving. It offers an industry-leading warranty period of 5 years/300,000 km and includes a mobility program consisting of pickup and delivery, emergency dispatch service, and accident vehicle towing service, all provided within the warranty period from the delivery date.

The warranty includes a new car exchange program. If a car-to-car accident occurs with less than 50% fault on the part of the owner, and the repair cost is 30% or more of the vehicle purchase price, the owner can exchange the vehicle for a new car of the same model and trim. This is available once within 2 years from the subscription date regardless of mileage. It does not apply to total loss cases, theft accidents, or parking accidents.


A program to maintain the vehicle’s exterior is also provided. If damage occurs to the bumper, bonnet, roof, fender, side mirror, trunk, front windshield, tires, etc., repairs or replacements can be made up to a total limit of 3 million KRW. This service is applicable up to 2 years/40,000 km from the new car delivery date.


For 2 years from the subscription date, regardless of mileage, if repairs are made through comprehensive car insurance, a deductible of up to 500,000 KRW per accident can be supported up to 3 times.


This warranty program is only available for new cars purchased from official BMW Group Korea dealers within 90 days from the delivery date.
