Affordable Phone Activation with AI Chatbot... StageFive Enhances Customer Convenience

[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Su-yeon] Stage Five announced on the 14th that it will operate the Findairect Altteul Phone artificial intelligence (AI) activation system.


The AI activation system is the first not only in the Altteul Phone industry but also in the telecommunications industry. It uses Kakao Enterprise's Kakao i engine.

A Stage Five official stated, "More than 70% of all consultation cases from customers subscribing to Altteul Phone plans through Findairect are related to activation issues," adding, "We expect to resolve a significant portion of these through the AI activation system." According to Stage Five, the most frequently received consultations regarding activation issues were △ prior consent for number portability (55%), followed by △ correction of activation application forms (26%).


By using the AI activation system, customers can reduce the hassle of performing complex prior consent tasks themselves or manually correcting errors on the activation application screen. At Findairect, following the guidance provided by the Kakao-based chatbot allows activation to proceed smoothly. Convenience has been enhanced. In particular, the ability to activate directly through KakaoTalk and experience an automated activation process represents an improvement compared to other telecommunications companies' self-activation systems. Through the AI activation system, the chronic customer service convenience issues in the Altteul Phone industry can be dramatically improved.


Stage Five plans to continuously advance this system. Since September 2020, through the regulatory sandbox project, Stage Five has challenged customer experience innovation in the telecommunications service sector by being the first in the industry to introduce simple authentication as a personal identification method when subscribing to telecommunications services.
