[Weather] Cold Snap on the Way to Work... Warms Up from the Afternoon

On Tuesday the 14th, the cold snap will continue following the previous day.


Morning temperatures will be around 0 degrees Celsius mainly inland, gradually warming up from the afternoon. The nationwide morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between -4 and 6 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs ranging from 13 to 19 degrees Celsius. The temperature difference between day and night will exceed 15 degrees, so please take care of your health.

The sky will be mostly cloudy occasionally across the country, clearing up from the afternoon. The air will be very dry and winds will blow strongly, so special caution is needed to prevent various fires such as wildfires.


In the northern offshore areas of the southern West Sea, winds will be very strong and waves will be high, so vessels engaged in navigation or fishing should be cautious.


Wave heights in coastal waters are expected to be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the South Sea. In the outer offshore waters (approximately within 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are predicted to be 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the East Sea, 1.5 to 3.5 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea.
