The Korea Housing Builders Association announced on the 13th that it will conduct the 'Member Company Housing Business Practical Training' for the first half of 2023, targeting practical workers of member companies nationwide.
The practical training will be held on the 16th of this month from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the CTS Art Hall located in Noryangjin-dong, Dongjak-gu, Seoul. This training will include lectures on ▲ BIM (Building Information Modeling)-based architectural cost estimation ▲ theory and practice of housing construction business ▲ real estate deregulation and system changes ▲ recent housing market analysis and outlook.
In particular, this training will feature a lecture on cost estimation methods that can reduce costs compared to traditional construction methods through BuilderHub based on BIM, addressing one of the biggest concerns of housing construction companies: 'construction cost reduction.'
It will also provide an easy-to-understand explanation of various housing business procedures and terminology following project plan approval, explore detailed policies in sectors such as the current government's real estate measures, tax, finance, and urban renewal, and analyze future system improvements.
Additionally, the training will cover the 2023 domestic housing market trends, responses from advanced countries, the global economic situation, and provide a lecture on future housing market forecasts reflecting these factors.
President Jeong Won-ju of the association stated, “We are pooling the association’s capabilities to provide various support so that member companies nationwide can proactively and efficiently respond to the rapidly changing housing business environment due to internal and external variables and interest rate trends.” He added, “In particular, we plan to continuously expand practical training focused on enhancing practical response capabilities in areas of high interest to housing companies, such as real estate supplier financial tax systems and new construction technologies.”
