Jeonbuk Namwon City Cosmetics Industry Support Center (Chairman Choi Kyung-sik) was finally selected for the 'Namwon Cosmetics Industry Technology Commercialization Innovation Growth Support Project' (hereinafter referred to as the Innovation Growth Support Project) by applying for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' Si/Gun/Gu Local Industry Promotion Project.
According to the city on the 13th, this project is a joint effort by the Cosmetics Support Center, Jeollabuk-do, and Namwon City to strengthen the technology competitiveness of dermatology-based brands and products of Namwon cosmetics companies and to promote commercialization in the cosmetics market.
The city will invest a total of 1.42 billion KRW over the next two years starting this year.
The Innovation Growth Support Project, led by the Cosmetics Center as the main institution, consists of a total of 14 support programs including brand building, prescription design and formulation development education, raw material technology investigation education, cosmetics container utilization and manufacturing production education, formulation technology guidance, prototype and renewal production, consumer response surveys, skin clinical evaluation, functional ingredient and safety quality inspection and testing analysis, supporting Namwon cosmetics companies.
Through the Innovation Growth Support Project, the Cosmetics Support Center plans to lead to direct sales and employment increases of cosmetics companies by implementing multifaceted technology commercialization support according to the growth stages of companies.
Mayor Choi Kyung-sik said, “Based on the professional technology and personnel possessed by the Cosmetics Support Center, we will actively support the technology-based growth of cosmetics companies in the region.”
