Missha, a brand under Able C&C, announced on the 13th that it has selected Sana, a member of the girl group TWICE, as its brand ambassador.
According to Missha, Sana possesses a unique sophisticated and mature beauty, holding a strong fandom not only in Korea and Japan but across Asia. Based on Sana's charm, Missha plans to expand its influence in the global market by recently broadening its reach to the 25-45 age demographic and combining it with the brand identity that pursues the essence of beauty.
Jo Yesuh, Director of Marketing at Able C&C, said, “We decided to appoint Sana as an ambassador because her elegant and refined image aligns with the values Missha aims for. We will actively communicate with various age groups through Missha's new image alongside Sana.”
Meanwhile, as the first brand activity with Sana, Missha unveiled the photoshoot for its new product, the ‘All Around Safe Block Sun Stick,’ on the same day.
The new product is a sunscreen certified as safe vegan, designed to be safe for sensitive skin. It consists of two types: the 'Aqua Sun Stick,' effective in reducing skin temperature depending on skin type, and the 'Cotton Sun Stick,' effective in absorbing and preventing oil. The product packaging, created in collaboration with popular illustrator Park Sanghyuk, features witty illustrations with bold lines, capturing joyful moments of vibrant daily life.
