Daegu Architecture Expo Held at EXCO... Smart Furniture Expo and Camping Equipment Exhibition Also Featured

At EXCO, the ‘Daegu Architecture Expo (DAHOS 2023)’, ‘Daegu Smart Furniture Expo’, and ‘2023 Play Camping & Travel Fair’ will be held consecutively for consumers envisioning comfortable living spaces. Visitors can get an overview of the trends in smart architecture, furniture, and camping travel sectors.

The 23rd Daegu Architecture Expo will take place for four days from the 16th to the 19th at Daegu EXCO. Organized by Hansan Marketing Research Co., Ltd., the Daegu Architecture Expo has been held since EXCO opened in 2001. It is the longest-running architecture event at EXCO and has grown for 23 years as a space where architecture-related companies from Daegu and Gyeongbuk showcase innovative new technologies and products annually.

This year’s event, themed ‘Making Life Convenient, Making Spaces Beautiful,’ features over 250 domestic companies with 700 booths, providing consumers the opportunity to compare and select high-quality materials all in one place.

The main exhibition areas include professional architecture-related products such as building materials, landscaping, public facilities, lighting, and tools, as well as the latest design furniture, household goods, eco-friendly products, seismic design, country houses, steel houses, pensions, and other increasingly popular rural living and mobile housing concepts.

The event will be held simultaneously with the ‘1st Daegu Smart Furniture Expo,’ which will create synergy with the architecture industry and offer a rich variety of attractions. It will showcase customized furniture responding to the increasing trend of single-person households and new furniture trends that will capture consumers’ attention.

Additionally, the 2023 Play Camping & Travel Fair, organized by the MICE Industry Research Institute, will be held for three days from the 17th to the 19th in Hall 1 of the EXCO West Building. Now in its third year, the event will feature 100 companies with 220 booths showcasing camping cars, camping supplies, safety products, travel goods, and tourist destinations.

This event will provide valuable travel information by introducing major camping and tourist sites and tourism resources from 15 cities and counties in Gyeongsangbuk-do. Camping supply specialists such as Autin Life and Camping Sori will present their products. Various events for visitors, including first-come-first-served prize giveaways, purchase receipt events, and on-site SNS certification events, will also be held.

Admission to the Daegu Architecture Expo and Play Camping & Travel Fair is free with pre-registration through each exhibition’s official website. The Daegu Architecture Expo is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., while the Play Camping & Travel Fair is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
