Busan City will operate the ‘2030 Expo Studio’ for about four months from March 13 to June 30 at ‘KidZania Busan,’ a global number one job experience theme park.

‘2030 Expo Studio’ was created to easily explain the significance and necessity of hosting the 2030 World Expo to the future generation who will be the main actors in 2030, and to provide them with an opportunity to experience it firsthand.


Upon entering KidZania Busan, visitors can experience the ‘2030 Expo Studio,’ which lasts 25 minutes and can accommodate up to six participants at a time. In the experience facility of ‘2030 Expo Studio,’ participants can learn in detail about the 2030 Busan World Expo and become advertising planners and models to create promotional posters for the 2030 Busan World Expo themselves.


Once inside the ‘2030 Expo Studio,’ participants first review the history of past world expos, which served as the stage for inventions that amazed the world, and learn about Busan’s status as Korea’s first international tourism city and one of the world’s top five port cities, as well as the effects of hosting the 2030 Busan World Expo.


Afterwards, participants become advertising models and planners, wearing the purple hooded jumper symbolizing BTS, the promotional ambassador of the 2030 Busan World Expo, and use various props to plan effective advertising images themselves and create promotional posters.

All processes are conducted in teams of three, allowing participants to naturally experience the profession of advertising planner while enhancing their understanding of the 2030 Busan World Expo.


In particular, the process is designed so that all participants cooperate to create the best poster for promoting the 2030 Busan World Expo, thereby practicing the Expo’s core values of ‘education, cooperation, and innovation.’


The city expects that operating this studio will expand the consensus for hosting the 2030 Busan World Expo to the children’s generation, showing even greater enthusiasm to the onsite inspection team during the International Exhibitions Bureau’s field inspection scheduled for early April.


To commemorate the opening of ‘2030 Expo Studio,’ KidZania Busan is holding the ‘2030 Busan World Expo Hosting Support Stamp Book Event.’


Participants receive 10 KidZo each time they complete the ‘E, X, P, O’ zones in the stamp book, and upon completing all zones, they receive various gifts such as a 40% discount coupon on admission fees.


KidZo is KidZania’s own currency unit usable only inside KidZania, with denominations of 1, 5, 10, 20, and 50 (traveler’s check) KidZo. Each time visitors enter, they are issued a 50 KidZo traveler’s check.


There is also a special mission to visit the Expo Promotion Center on the first floor of Busan City Hall to get a stamp, and completing this mission grants additional souvenirs.


KidZania Busan will also provide free opportunities to experience the ‘2030 Expo Studio’ to 500 vulnerable individuals, aiming to practice the sub-theme of the 2030 Busan World Expo, ‘Care and Sharing.’


Promotional activities for hosting the 2030 Busan World Expo will be conducted simultaneously targeting visitors and members.


Promotional images of the 2030 Busan World Expo will be displayed on monitors inside KidZania, and promotion will be carried out targeting approximately 150,000 KidZania membership members.
