Police Investigate Man in His 40s as Suspect for Setting Fire on Dobongsan

The Dobong Police Station in Seoul is investigating Mr. A (49), who is suspected of setting a fire near Dobongsan.

According to the police on the 12th, Mr. A set the fire near Naejasa in Dobongsan at around 11:16 PM the previous day. The police found Mr. A wandering near the scene with a lighter and arrested him on the spot. Mr. A is refusing to give a statement.

The fire department responded to a resident's report and extinguished the fire at around 1 AM that day. The wildfire burned 200㎡ of forest land. There were no casualties.
