119 Emergency Responders' Reunion for Survivors Returning to Daily Life
The National Fire Agency announced on the 12th that it is recruiting applicants for the ‘Hope, Re:born Club,’ a solidarity group for survivors who have returned to daily life through the 119 emergency medical service after their hearts had stopped, until the 31st of this month.
The recruitment target is men and women nationwide in their 20s to 70s who have regained healthy daily life after cardiac arrest. To join, applicants can scan the ‘Hope Reborn Club’ QR code at the bottom of the poster or apply through the National Fire Agency’s blog.
Going forward, the ‘Re:born Club’ will hold its inaugural ceremony in September and engage in various activities including △ information sharing through online and offline communities, ▲ organizing various events to practice sharing hope, ▲ appointing ambassadors for CPR promotion, ▲ providing education and lectures to raise public awareness of CPR, and ▲ planning and promoting collaborative campaigns with the National Fire Agency and media outlets to improve the nationwide survival rate of cardiac arrest patients.
Lee Osuk, spokesperson for the National Fire Agency, said, “We hope that the Reborn Club will continue to spread waves of safety culture by sharing vivid experiences of members and spreading inspiring messages of hope, thereby improving public awareness of emergency treatment.”
