The Office of Education supports these schools in establishing an AI education foundation by developing various AI education class models and discovering and spreading excellent cases.

Among the ‘AI Education Leading Schools,’ 3 schools establishing information education rooms?Dadae Elementary School, Gwangmyeong High School, and Daemyeong Girls’ High School?will receive 82.5 million KRW each, and 54 educational activity model schools will receive 12.5 million KRW per school. Among the ‘AI Convergence Education Hub High Schools,’ Geumgok High School will receive 100 million KRW, and the 3 operating schools will receive 50 million KRW each.

With this support, schools will carry out tasks such as ▲innovating information education spaces ▲strengthening software and AI curricula through expanding information subject hours and AI-utilized classes linked to subjects ▲operating distinctive software and AI education activities such as club activities, camps, and after-school programs ▲and fostering a software and AI education culture.

Han Jonghwan, Director of the Digital Future Education Division at the Busan Office of Education, said, “Operating AI education policy schools will greatly help in expanding support for establishing a software and AI education foundation and providing software and AI education tailored to each school’s conditions.”
