The Daegu 3rd Industrial Complex Management Corporation and SRS CEO Hong Tae-hwa signed a business agreement with Chairman Hong Jong-yoon to actively promote the rooftop solar power project in the industrial complex.
They estimated the rooftop area of industrial sites within the total area of the Daegu 3rd Industrial Complex (1,685,000㎡) and agreed on a concrete goal of 80MW.
Chairman Hong stated, "The 3rd Industrial Complex will be the first to remove slate roofs and transform into an eco-friendly advanced industrial complex," adding, "It is a great opportunity to enhance the era's value along with providing practical benefits to tenant companies."

According to the specific terms of the agreement, the primary goal is to replace slate roofs with solar panels within three years. It also includes incentives worth about 20 billion KRW related to electric vehicle support replacing old vehicles, installation of free electric vehicle charging stations, and energy efficiency projects, in addition to rooftop rental fees.
In particular, support for ESG management was agreed upon. Son Kang-ho, Executive Director of the Daegu 3rd Industrial Complex, said, "We will develop an ESG platform to practice and spread comprehensive ESG management among tenant companies in the 3rd Industrial Complex."
