Busan Port Facilities Management Center signed a "Business Agreement for Win-Win Cooperation and Mutual Growth in the MICE Sector" with Pulmuone Food & Culture on the 8th.
Busan Port Facilities Management Center operates the Busan Port International Exhibition & Convention Center (BPEX), and Pulmuone Food & Culture operates Busan X the Sky.
The purpose of this agreement is to establish a mutual cooperation network, promote active exchanges and various joint promotional activities to revitalize the local economy and lead to mutual growth.
Busan Port Facility Management Center and Pulmuone Food & Culture officials are signing an agreement.
According to the agreement, the two organizations will utilize their promotional platforms to carry out joint marketing and various cooperative projects.
Specifically, BPEX event participants who use the Busan X the Sky observatory can present a BPEX exclusive discount coupon to receive a 25% discount on the regular price for up to three accompanying guests in addition to themselves.
Celebrating its 7th anniversary this year, BPEX attracts various international conferences, corporate meetings, and specialized exhibitions such as the Busan International Port Conference, Busan Indie Connect Festival, Korean Society of Civil Engineers, and Upbit Developer Conference.
Park Hyun-wook, president of Busan Port Facilities Management Center, said, “The growth of BPEX is not merely an independent development but contributes to regional development by growing together with the local MICE industry in Busan, including surrounding lodging, dining, and tourism sectors.”
