Contribution to the Establishment of the Lancaster Country Club Scholarship Foundation
Jeon In-ji has become the recipient of the inaugural 'Velocity Global Impact Awards.' This award honors players who have made contributions to the development of golf and inspired others through social contributions.
On the 9th, the U.S. Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour announced, "As a result of fan voting, Jeon In-ji was selected as the final awardee." Jeon In-ji was recognized for her establishment of the Jeon In-ji Lancaster Country Club Scholarship Foundation in 2015.
Fan voting took place from the 21st of last month to the 6th of this month, involving the final nominees Jeon In-ji, Lizette Salas, and Mariah Stackhouse (both from the United States). With this award, the 'Jeon In-ji Lancaster Country Club Scholarship Foundation' established by Jeon In-ji will receive a $100,000 scholarship fund.
