Neo QLED, 8K, Extra Large and 7 Other Lineups Released
Samsung OLED Released in 3 Sizes: 77, 65, and 55 Inches
Samsung Electronics will officially launch its 2023 TV new products, including Neo QLED and OLED, in the domestic market on the 9th.
Neo QLED has expanded to a total of 7 series, focusing on 8K and extra-large models, up from 6 series last year. Neo QLED 8K will introduce a total of 10 models in 4 series (QNC900, QNC850, QNC800, QNC700) with 3 sizes (85, 75, 65 inches), adding one series to the existing 3 series.
The 'Neo Quantum Processor 8K,' upgraded with 64 neural networks, enhances the artificial intelligence (AI) upscaling function. The new picture quality technology 'Contrast Enhancement Pro' detects the areas where viewers' eyes focus while watching TV, analyzes objects, people, and specific regions, and enhances contrast to add three-dimensional depth. 'Auto HDR Remastering' applies AI deep learning technology with proprietary algorithm technology, analyzing SDR content scene by scene and applying real-time HDR effects to display details brightly and clearly in HDR quality.

Samsung OLED, which attracted much attention even before its official domestic launch after debuting in the global market last year, will be released in three sizes: 77, 65, and 55 inches. Samsung OLED, completed with Samsung Electronics' unique TV technology, is equipped with the Neural AI Quantum Processor 4K, maintaining the advantages of OLED technology while realizing high levels of brightness and color. Twenty neural networks upscale low-resolution videos to 4K quality.
Samsung's proprietary 'OLED Brightness Booster' function significantly improves the brightness performance, which was perceived as a drawback of OLED panels. Additionally, anti-glare technology is applied to minimize light reflection, allowing for clearer images. With Quantum HDR OLED+, viewers can see details clearly in both bright and dark scenes, and the self-emitting pixels render colors from black to white nearly perfectly. HDR 10+ is applied to enhance the depth of the image with excellent brightness and contrast.
Hwang Tae-hwan, Vice President and Head of Samsung Electronics Korea, said, "Neo QLED 8K, leading the global premium TV market, offers a new viewing experience with enhanced performance in 2023, and Samsung OLED, completed with Samsung TV technology, is introduced for the first time, expanding consumer choices. The 2023 TV new products will provide customers with the best screen experience along with abundant benefits."
