Emart announced on the 9th that it will hold a spring seasonal food discount event from the 9th to the 15th.

During this period, Emart will sell Farmers Pick chamoe with a 4,000 won discount when Shinsegae points are accumulated. Fresh spring jjukkumi will be sold at around 3,600 won per 100g, large-sized chamdomhoe (about 340g) at around 29,000 won, and spring sea squirts (150g) at a 30% discount when Shinsegae points are accumulated. Fresh spring jjukkumi can be purchased with a 20% discount each when bought together with Nongshim Sacheon Baekjjamppong (4 packs).

Emart stated that since the spring atmosphere arrived earlier than usual, the taste and size of seasonal fresh foods have improved faster than in previous years, prompting them to prepare the event early. The fresh jjukkumi sold during this event weighs about 100g on average per piece, up to 150g, which is about 1.3 to 5 times larger than the same period last year. The large-sized chamdomhoe event, featuring chamdom about 1.5 times larger than usual, is held 50 days earlier than last year.

Along with spring seasonal foods, a brand Hanwoo discount event will also be held. For one week from the 9th, all brand Hanwoo products can be purchased at a 40% discount when bought with the event card.

To support Hanwoo farmers facing price drops due to recent weak consumption, Emart explained that it secured 60 tons, which is usually a three-week supply, through pre-contracts.

Emart will also hold a deli event. During the event period, Emart will sell All That salmon sushi (16 pieces) and shrimp sushi (16 pieces) with a 3,000 won discount when Shinsegae points are accumulated.
