Mapo-gu (Mayor Park Gang-su) offers bidding information scattered nationwide to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) free of charge.

The district announced that it is operating the ‘Mapo-gu Customized Bidding Service,’ which allows users to view bidding and award information announced by public institutions, including the Public Procurement Service’s Nara Market, as well as private companies, all in one place.

This online system supports SMEs’ business activities by enabling them to use a service that normally requires an annual fee of over 300,000 KRW from the company’s perspective, free of charge.

Users can also receive customized information via email. By signing up for the service, they can set their preferred regions, industries, types of licenses, and more.

Moreover, to help increase the winning bid rate of local companies, award information based on bidding results is also disclosed, and a consultation call center operated by related experts provides guidance on bidding procedures and methods.

As of now, 651 local companies (as of December 31, 2022) are using the service, and these companies have successfully won a total of 218 bids worth 80.829 billion KRW in construction, service, and goods procurement sectors over the past year by utilizing the information obtained here.

The service is available to anyone working at a company located in Mapo-gu, and only a business registration certificate verification process is required for registration.

Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, said, “Currently, 651 local companies are using this service, and I hope more companies actively utilize this information.” He added, “We will continue to implement practical support policies that will be a reliable partner for SMEs and small business owners, the foundation of the local economy.”
