Once Daily Round Trip, Enhancing Transportation Convenience and Revitalizing Ulsan Airport
Korean Air's Ulsan~Jeju air route is reopening.
Ulsan City announced on the 7th that Korean Air's regular flights on the Ulsan~Jeju route, which had been suspended since February 2020, will resume from March 26 to October 28.
It is known that Ulsan City, local political circles, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and the airport corporation cooperated with the airline after long discussions to improve transportation convenience and revitalize Ulsan Airport.
The Ulsan~Jeju route operates once daily, with a flight time of 1 hour and 10 minutes. △Departing from Ulsan: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 2:20 PM; Tuesday and Thursday at 2:25 PM △Departing from Jeju: daily at 12:35 PM.
An official from Ulsan City said, “As a result of continuous discussions with the airline to expand routes for the revitalization of Ulsan Airport, Korean Air’s Jeju route has been reinstated. We will continue to strive for new airline routes and expansions to enhance convenience for citizens.”
Since the opening of Ulsan Airport in the 1970s, Korean Air has been serving Ulsan citizens and operated the Ulsan~Jeju route until the end of February 2020, but suspended flights due to a decrease in passengers caused by COVID-19. The route is now resuming.
