Singer-songwriter Maneul Releases Digital Single 'Hayan Kkot'

Drummer and singer-songwriter Maneul will release a new digital single album titled 'White Flower' on the 7th.

Maneul has worked as a session drummer for singers such as Jay Sera, Ari Band, and Lim Byungsoo. He also gained public recognition by appearing playing drums in a famous liquor commercial.

Maneul has been steadily active in music since releasing his first digital single 'Happy Day' in 2012 and his mini-album 'Pleasant Breeze' in 2015.

This album expresses the loneliness left alone after a sudden breakup, the daily habits naturally adapted to after the separation, and the longing for the few seasons spent with a loved one.

The title track 'White Flower' conveys the painful experience of heartbreak. The harmonious melody of cello and keyboard carries two versions of vocals that express the hardship of parting.

The first version features Maneul's calm and composed vocal singing the pain of separation. The featuring version with baritone classical singer Geonwoo expresses warmth and comfort within a powerful voice. By presenting the same song in different vocal styles, they sang for the one they loved.

The 'White Flower' lettering on the album cover was written by Lee Sanghyun, Korea's first professional calligrapher.

This album will be released as a digital single and can be listened to on various music platforms such as Melon, Bugs, and Naver Music.
