CJ OnStyle, Butina Achieves 15.7 Billion KRW in Cumulative Lifestyle Orders

CJ OnStyle announced on the 6th that its flagship content commerce program, 'Butina Life,' surpassed a cumulative order amount of 15.7 billion KRW and 2.7 million cumulative page views (PV) within one year of its launch.


Butina Life has aired about 70 episodes so far, with an average order amount exceeding 200 million KRW per broadcast. The broadcast with the highest order amount was the 'Galaxy Book PRO3 360' episode aired on the 7th, recording 1.7 billion KRW in orders on the day, showing sales comparable to TV home shopping. The broadcast with the most views was the premium home fabric detergent 'Blanc101' sales broadcast, which recorded 120,000 page views during the show. The average page views for Butina Life is 38,000. Considering that typical live commerce broadcasts have around 20,000 page views, this is about twice as high.


Butina Life is a live commerce program featuring Brian, a well-known 'neat guy' in the entertainment industry, as the seller. It specializes in selling products related to interior and lifestyle, such as furniture, home appliances, interior construction, and hotel accommodation vouchers. In collaboration with CJ ENM's entertainment division, it also offers entertainment-style content reviewing products before the live commerce broadcast through the 'tvN D ENT' YouTube channel. Lifestyle expert Brian and announcer and broadcaster Heo Song-yeon appear to experience the products in advance and deliver information, creating infotainment content. CJ OnStyle evaluated Butina Life as a representative successful case of content commerce where the seller, product, and content planning harmonize perfectly.


Butina Life will launch its Season 3 broadcast on the 7th. To strengthen fandom, it will be fixed every Tuesday at 8 PM and expanded. During the broadcast, a new Butina review segment will be introduced, providing communication time where Brian shares his actual usage reviews or answers product inquiries. Encore broadcasts of popular interior products that received great responses will also be held. On the 7th, broadcasts for 'Essa Sofa' and 'Slow Topper' will air, and on the 14th, 'Simmons Bed' and 'Livart Kitchen & Bath Interior' broadcasts will be held.


'Hyunyounghan Choice,' featuring broadcaster Hyunyoung as the seller, will also launch Season 2. Renewed as Season 2, it will be renamed 'Well-Living Sisters' and fixed every Wednesday at 8 PM to strengthen customer communication.
