EyesMobile, Complete Overhaul of Customer-Centered Subscription Process

MVNO (affordable phone) leading company listed on KOSDAQ, ‘Eyes Mobile’, announced on the 6th that it is providing customer-centric services through continuous service advancement, including a complete overhaul of its website on November 1 last year and recent improvements to its online rate plans.


Through the recent website revamp, Eyes Mobile has offered an interactive subscription service that simplifies the online application process, which had been difficult for affordable phone users, significantly improving the success rate of rate plan subscriptions and positively impacting its performance.


Also, since most affordable phone providers handle activation services and customer complaints through call centers, when the number of activations or inquiries increases, phone connections often get delayed.


To resolve these inconveniences, Eyes Mobile, for the first time among telecom companies, created a communication platform where users can ask and answer questions among themselves, improving the information asymmetry structure. This naturally resolves inquiries that do not require telecom company intervention, reducing the burden on the call center while simultaneously enhancing response quality.


Recently, the company has segmented the data usage amounts of the main prepaid rate plans to expand customers’ choices according to their usage. The plan names were also redesigned by assigning coffee cup sizes as plan sizes according to the data amount, allowing customers to easily understand at a glance.


In addition, by shifting various customer complaints that were previously received via phone or fax to online channels, customer convenience has been strengthened. Through the communication platform, diverse opinions from users are collected, leading to continuous service innovation.


Affordable phone providers pay wholesale fees to mobile carriers for network leasing, making it difficult to differentiate rate plan services due to the nature of the products.


To overcome these market structure limitations, Eyes Mobile plans to provide differentiated services by adding convenient activation experiences and continuous improvements and benefit enhancements to the fundamental value of ‘affordable rate plans.’


An Eyes Mobile representative stated, “We are preparing to develop an app that includes core functions helpful to telecom service users, such as usage analysis services, along with strengthening rate plan subscriptions and online customer center functions in 2023. For the metropolitan area, we also plan same-day delivery for USIM cards and devices,” adding, “Our goal is to become the leading affordable phone company that offers services comparable to the three major telecom carriers while representing affordable phone rate plans.”


Meanwhile, Eyes Vision achieved approximately double the sales growth in 2022 compared to 2019, and through online innovation and new businesses such as the used phone market, it expects about 500% growth compared to 2019, aiming for 100 billion KRW in sales by 2025.
