On the 5th, Ko Jin-young scored 3-under-par 69 in the final 4th round of the LPGA Tour HSBC Women's World Championship (total prize money $1.8 million) held at Sentosa Golf Club Tanjong Course (par 72, 6,749 yards) in Singapore, securing a 2-stroke victory with a total score of 17-under-par 271. This marks her 14th career win, one year after winning this tournament last year, with a winner's prize of $270,000 (approximately 350 million KRW). With Ko Jin-young's victory, Korea broke free from the humiliation of 18 consecutive tournaments without a win.
