Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly member Yoo Young-il (People Power Party, Anyang 5) requested that the safety of residents be prioritized and that a pleasant environmental improvement be made in relation to the maintenance work of Daewon Children's Park in Anyang.
On the 3rd, Assemblyman Yoo held a meeting with officials from Anyang City at the Anyang Consultation Office, a local consultation office of the Provincial Assembly, and said, "Due to the aging of parks created in the first phase new towns, not only children using the children's park but also residents could get injured. Please ensure residents' safety through park maintenance and provide a pleasant environmental improvement." He promised, "We will work together at the Gyeonggi-do level."
In response, an official from Anyang City said, "The facilities of Daewon Children's Park in Pyeongan-dong are very deteriorated, raising concerns about safety accidents," and added, "We will enhance residents' satisfaction and provide a pleasant environment through the maintenance of Daewon Children's Park."
On the same day, Assemblyman Yoo also shared opinions on local issues in Pyeongchon, Pyeongan, Gwuiin, Beomgye, and Galsan-dong areas.
The Provincial Assembly local consultation offices are spaces established for assembly members to collect residents' legislative and policy-related suggestions, daily inconveniences, and to discuss them with relevant departments.
