Jeongeup-si Recruiting Institutions to Use 'Early Childhood Forest Experience Center' Until the 13th

Jeongeup City in Jeonbuk announced on the 3rd that it is recruiting kindergartens and daycare centers to regularly use the ‘2023 Early Childhood Forest Experience Center Program’ until the 13th.

The Early Childhood Forest Experience Center is an urban forest created by Jeongeup City in the Jeongeupsa Park area to support children's emotional education and healthy growth.

It is an eco-friendly play space and educational facility that helps children achieve holistic growth by experiencing various functions of the forest.

The city plans to offer free customized educational programs by season and theme for eight months from next month to November, utilizing early childhood forest instructors who have obtained professional certifications.

The forest experience education program is divided into regular and occasional classes and is held twice on weekdays (10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM).

Institutions wishing to participate in the regular classes must download the application form from the recruitment announcement on the city hall website, fill it out, and submit it via email to the Forest and Greenery Division by the 13th.

Occasional classes are available only on Thursdays and require prior reservation through the integrated reservation system on the city hall website.

A city official said, “We will continue to prepare beneficial programs so that children can develop character, creativity, and immunity at the Early Childhood Forest Experience Center and grow physically and mentally healthy.”
