[Featured Stock] Samki EV, Direct Link to Electric Vehicle Battery Safety ↑... 'Level-Up' Accelerates with US Factory Effect

Samki EV is showing strong performance. It appears that securities firms' analysis, which expects growth by supplying end plates to overseas automakers alongside the country's No. 1 secondary battery manufacturer, is influencing the stock price.

As of 10:25 AM on the 3rd, Samki EV is trading at 20,900 KRW, up 12.06% from the previous day.

Samki EV is a specialized manufacturer of end plates, components that improve the stability of secondary batteries. The company began developing battery end plates in 2016 and received its first order from a global automaker in 2017. With full-scale mass production starting in 2019, it was spun off from its parent company in 2020 to focus on the business. Currently, it supplies end plates to various global automakers in collaboration with the country's No. 1 secondary battery cell manufacturer.

Seungdoo Na, a researcher at SK Securities, explained, "End plates, which are installed about 20 to 60 per electric vehicle, are very important components that protect battery cells from external shocks. Due to the need to be sturdy enough to sufficiently protect the cells while remaining lightweight, aluminum materials are mainly used."

He added, "Samki EV is gaining high trust from clients by enhancing product quality through high-vacuum die-casting technology. Based on proven technology and references, the company is attempting to diversify its client base."

Furthermore, he analyzed, "Samki EV, which possesses not only simple aluminum manufacturing but also R&D capabilities related to batteries, is pushing to expand its business areas beyond end plates to include battery pack housings. The effects of the proactively invested U.S. factory are expected to appear from 2025." He emphasized, "There are already orders received with 2025 U.S. factory production in mind, and cooperation with cell makers planning or pursuing entry into the U.S. market is likely to strengthen further."
