Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam, attended the New Year's meeting of the Gyeongnam Federation of Small and Medium Business Convergence on the afternoon of the 2nd at the Grand Mercure Ambassador Changwon Hotel.
On this day, about 100 members from related organizations and the federation, including Mayor Hong, Choi Yeolsu, Director of the Gyeongnam Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration, and Kim Jongmin, Director of the Gyeongnam Regional Public Procurement Service, attended. A total of five people, including Kim Hanjun, CEO of Daehot I&T, were honored with awards for contributions to the Changwon Mayor.

The Gyeongnam Federation of Small and Medium Business Convergence is an economic organization that strengthens corporate competitiveness through information, technology, and human exchange across industries, and works to create new businesses by converging mutual technologies and services. Established in May 1994, it currently has about 610 member companies and actively engages not only in exchange activities for small and medium enterprises in Gyeongnam but also in sharing and coexistence practices in the local community.
Mayor Hong said, “I am grateful for the creative and innovative economic environment created through the federation’s various activities centered on the keyword ‘convergence.’ I hope it becomes a partner that establishes the foundation for innovative growth for the next 50 years through active communication and exchange with Changwon City.”
