Inspection and Damage Prevention Efforts in Preparation for the Thawing Season
On the 2nd, the Gyeongnam Haman County held a regular assembly presided over by Jo Geun-je, the governor of Gyeongnam Haman County, in the large conference room on the 3rd floor of the county office.
On this day, Governor Jo instructed to thoroughly manage quarantine measures, including inspections and guidance for facilities where mask-wearing is mandatory, as the indoor mask-wearing obligation changed to a recommendation from January 30th but is not yet completely lifted.

He emphasized that data management is crucial in prolonged disasters and that it can help prepare for various upcoming disasters.
With the onset of the full thawing season causing the ground surface to melt and weaken, increasing the risk of collapses of retaining walls, embankments, cut slopes, and various construction site safety accidents, he urged continuous inspections of disaster blind spots and vulnerable areas to prevent disaster damage.
In particular, since eliminating psychological anxiety is important in the fields of environment, safety, and health, he stressed the need to strengthen policies for analysis and evaluation based on scientific data and requested the production and processing of useful data within feasible limits.
Additionally, he asked the facility management departments and towns and townships to actively prepare for disasters by not only spreading regular safety inspections but also enhancing accident prevention publicity and education.
He also mentioned that through the Anti-Corruption Integrity Practice Resolution Meeting, everyone pledges to maintain integrity in public service, and he hopes that all employees will always strive for a clean public service and a trustworthy, honest Haman that the residents can rely on.
He stated that organizations without communication or consideration find it difficult to develop, and as times change and generations differ, he asked to create an organizational culture where employees empathize and understand each other through broad communication.
