Ssangyong Motor February Sales of 10,431 Units... 47.3% Increase Compared to Same Month Last Year

Over 10,000 Units Sold for Two Consecutive Months
Torres Cumulative Sales Reach 32,741 Units

SsangYong Motor announced on the 2nd that it sold a total of 10,431 units in February, including 6,785 units domestically and 3,646 units for export. This represents a 47.3% increase compared to the same month last year. With both domestic and export sales rising, the company surpassed 10,000 units sold for two consecutive months following January.


Domestic sales increased by 49.4% compared to the same month last year. The Torres led the sales growth trend, recording cumulative sales of 32,741 units since its launch in July last year. Exports also rose by 43.4% year-on-year, exceeding 3,000 units for two consecutive months as shipments to regions such as Belgium, Hungary, and Chile increased.

In January, SsangYong showcased models such as the Korando e-Motion at the Brussels Motor Show to expand sales in the European market. Last month, the company strengthened its global market strategy by expanding exports to the Middle East, based in the UAE region.


A SsangYong Motor official stated, “The cumulative sales of the Torres have surpassed 30,000 units, continuing the favorable trend and driving sales growth. With both domestic and export sales on the rise, we will ensure a full-scale production system and thorough parts supply management to maintain the upward sales momentum.”
