Hyundai Wia is launching a large-scale recruitment of experienced employees to strengthen its future mobility parts business.
Hyundai Wia announced on the 2nd that it will conduct large-scale recruitment of experienced researchers and developers until the 19th. Applications can be submitted through the Hyundai Wia recruitment website. Through this experienced recruitment, Hyundai Wia aims to further strengthen its future mobility parts business.
The recruitment fields include ▲vehicle parts ▲robotics and autonomous driving ▲defense industry ▲safety ▲procurement, among others. Applicants will be hired after passing document screening, personality tests, and interviews.
Hyundai Wia will recruit the majority of candidates in new business areas. First, it aims to secure talent in the fields of ‘integrated thermal management system’ and ‘electrification control’ to gain leadership in the future mobility parts market. Hyundai Wia is preparing for mass production of the cooling water module of the thermal management system in April. The plan is to start mass production of the integrated thermal management system by 2025.
Hyundai Wia is also proactively securing talent for the development of electrified drive systems and electronic components. These talents will develop next-generation drive parts such as the electrified axle (eTVTC), block coil motors, and software for electronic components.
Regarding the eTVTC, known as the perfected form of four-wheel drive, Hyundai Wia has completed vehicle testing and is currently developing for mass production. The block coil motor is also being developed through the establishment of the ‘Hyundai Wia i-Motor Lab’ with Hanyang University last year. This motor is planned to be applied expansively to robots, future automobiles, and urban air mobility (UAM).
Hyundai Wia will also recruit a large number of talents for the development of smart factory solutions based on robotics and autonomous driving. These employees will be responsible for developing logistics and autonomous driving robots, as well as robot control and software development. Large-scale recruitment is also underway in the rapidly growing defense industry sector.
To attract outstanding talent, Hyundai Wia plans to change its working methods to enable employees to immerse themselves in their work autonomously and produce results. To this end, Hyundai Wia has introduced a hybrid (flexible commuting) work system to allow employees to work freely. It is also strengthening welfare programs. By enhancing welfare benefits such as medical expense support and smart learning, Hyundai Wia aims to support employees in growing into experts in the future mobility and robotics fields.
A Hyundai Wia official said, “We have significantly increased research and development personnel to respond to the rapidly changing future mobility market,” adding, “The company will do its best to support outstanding talents to join Hyundai Wia and grow within the company.”
