The man following Ms. A approached her, forcibly hugged her, and attempted to kiss her. He also sexually harassed her by putting his hand inside her pants.

Ms. A fiercely resisted and bit the man's tongue that entered her mouth hard. Taking advantage of the man's pain, she fled home with a part of his tongue still in her mouth.

Ms. A submitted the severed tongue to the police station as evidence of sexual assault. The French police immediately dispatched officers to the scene and arrested the bleeding man.

Investigation revealed that the perpetrator was an illegal immigrant from Tunisia. However, the man claimed that the woman attacked him. After legal proceedings, the man is expected to be deported from France.

A similar incident occurred in South Korea in 2020.

At that time, a man who tried to sexually assault a drunken woman by taking her to a nearby mountain in Busan had the tip of his tongue cut off by the woman by about 3 cm. The man was arrested on charges of rape and murder, and the woman's actions were recognized as self-defense.
