Busan Office of Education Appoints Expert Citizen Auditors for Integrity-Vulnerable Areas

On the 28th at 2 p.m., the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education appointed citizen auditors at the annex of the city education office.

The event was attended by citizen auditors and related public officials.

This year's appointed citizen auditors consist of experts in corruption-vulnerable fields, professors, members of civic groups, retired principals and teachers, totaling 30 members including 12 newly appointed and 18 existing citizen auditors.

Throughout the year, they will engage in activities such as ▲participating in various audits of the city education office ▲joint inspections of corruption-vulnerable areas like school sports teams and after-school programs ▲investigations into school violence and sexual violence cases that require expertise and fairness.
