Since the release of the revised edition at the end of last year, the book If I Were to Live My Life Again has been steadily gaining attention and was announced by Millie’s Library on the 28th as the most viewed book in February. According to the reading platform Millie’s Library, the number of users who have added this book to their in-app library has exceeded 90,000. This book, which conveys the right mindset for living life, rose from 2nd place last month to 1st place this month. The audiobook ranked 8th.
Sayno’s Teachings, which contains wisdom and experiential knowledge about life, and Kim Mikyung’s Lessons at Forty, which advises on how to live life after forty, followed in 2nd and 3rd place respectively. Good Thoughts to Have Every Day, which teaches how to discard worries and anxiety and fill your inner self with positive thoughts, ranked 5th.
Several original books gained attention due to movie hits. The original book of the Japanese film Tonight, Even If This Love Disappears from the World, which attracted one million viewers, ranked 10th. The original book of the film Laplace’s Witch, which drew attention as a collaboration between master director Takashi Miike and mystery novelist Keigo Higashino, ranked 11th. Kim Hoon’s Harbin ranked 19th, boosted by the success of the film and musical Hero.
The Great Gatsby, released as a docent book that introduces the work easily as a docent explains an artwork, also received great interest. It was added to over 3,000 libraries, and the completion rate reached 89%. This means 9 out of 10 people finished the content.
