Daegu Urban Development Corporation announced on the 28th that it will begin supplying 66 land parcels in Kumho Waterpolis General Industrial Complex, Geomdan-dong, Buk-gu, Daegu, to general demanders through a first-come, first-served private contract method.
The land parcels available for supply include 24 commercial facility sites, 3 neighborhood living facility sites, 31 support facility sites, 5 detached house sites (with store use), and 3 parking lot sites within Kumho Waterpolis.
The commercial facility sites being supplied this time are located in a general commercial area, with a total supply area of 28,862㎡. These commercial facility sites can be used not only for Type 1 and Type 2 neighborhood living facilities but also for cultural and assembly facilities, sales facilities, medical facilities, office facilities, and accommodation facilities.
The neighborhood living facility sites located in a quasi-residential area have a supply area of 1,775㎡. These neighborhood living facility sites can be utilized for medical facilities, educational research facilities, office facilities, in addition to Type 1 and Type 2 neighborhood living facilities.
The support facility sites located in a quasi-industrial area have a supply area of 25,482㎡ and can be used for medical facilities, educational research facilities, office facilities, warehouse facilities, as well as Type 1 and Type 2 neighborhood living facilities.
The detached house sites located in a Type 1 general residential area have a supply area of 1,505㎡. Within two-fifths of the total floor area, Type 1 and Type 2 neighborhood living facilities can be built on the first floor or below. The parking lot sites are supplied with an area of 10,343㎡.
The Kumho Waterpolis development site is considered one of the best places for development due to its waterfront space formed along the Kumho River to the north. Through a development plan linking excellent metropolitan transportation accessibility and the Kumho River waterfront space, it is planned to be developed into a cutting-edge complex combining industry, logistics, commerce, and residential areas.
In addition, public interest is increasing due to the construction of access roads establishing an industrial logistics linkage system with nearby 3rd, Seodaegu, and Geomdan Industrial Complexes and Isiapolis, as well as the influence of the EXCO line of the urban railway.
Daegu Urban Development Corporation plans to attract industries related to the region’s future growth engines such as electronic information communication, mechatronics, and new materials to the industrial land. Furthermore, by supplying commercial land and support facility land as hinterlands, it aims to concentrate 2,722 apartment units for a population of 10,533, 1,452 residential-commercial complex units, and 39 detached houses, thereby promoting balanced regional development and revitalizing the local economy.
