Yoon Hee-geun, Commissioner of the National Police Agency, visited the Metropolitan Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency in Mapo-gu, Seoul, on the 28th and promoted seven distinguished police officers.

The officers promoted were Lieutenant Choi Jun-young of the Narcotics Crime Investigation Unit, Sergeant Yoon Yong-min of the Narcotics Crime Investigation Unit, Lieutenant Kim Hak-jae of the Cyber Investigation Division, Sergeant Yoo Min-guk of the Anti-Corruption and Public Crime Investigation Unit, Sergeant Kim Tae-hoon of the Violent Crime Investigation Unit, Sergeant Kim Sang-woo of the Security Investigation Division, and Police Officer Yoon Dae-wook of the Security Division at Nonhyeon Police Station, Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency. Among them, Lieutenant Kim Hak-jae was recognized for his achievement in arresting 'El,' the operator of the 'Second N-bunbang,' in Australia and apprehending 28 individuals involved in the production, distribution, and possession of child sexual exploitation materials.
At the promotion ceremony, Commissioner Yoon urged, "Please continue to devote all your efforts to establishing law and order for the safety of the public." To the leadership of the Metropolitan Investigation Unit, he said, "Focus your investigative capabilities to root out heinous crimes that infringe on the lives of ordinary citizens, such as violent acts at construction sites and jeonse fraud."
