Asia Economy announced the final five selected companies for the startup advertising support project "BLANK: Defend the Page," held in collaboration with the Korea Startup Forum, on the 28th.
This project was launched for the first time this year to expand promotional opportunities for startups and explore new business partnership opportunities.
A total of 56 outstanding startups applied for this project. A panel of judges composed of internal and external experts from Asia Economy and the Korea Startup Forum conducted a thorough document screening process and selected five companies in total. The final selected companies are Saenghwal Yeonguso, WeMeet, Scala Data, B-Dream, and Once Global.
The selected companies will receive support for newspaper advertisement production and placement of ads in Asia Economy's print edition four times a month for three months.
Asia Economy and the Korea Startup Forum plan to explore various support and collaboration measures for applicant companies with innovative technologies and ideas beyond the selected companies.
Meanwhile, Saenghwal Yeonguso, selected in this project, operates the platform "Cheongso Yeonguso," which matches customers in need of cleaning with workers seeking jobs. WeMeet is a startup that extracts and organizes plant-based protein using mushrooms as the main ingredient to produce plant-based meat.
Scala Data operates the electric vehicle charging infrastructure integrated platform "Modu-ui Chungjeon." B-Dream provides the specialized remote work platform for people with disabilities called "Flip." Once Global offers various pharmaceutical information through the global pharmaceutical big data platform "Connect DI."
