Payment of Support Funds for Welfare Blind Spot Discovery Recipients
Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that the Our Neighborhood Welfare Task Force is playing a crucial role as a reliable support for identifying at-risk households and low-income vulnerable groups.
On the 24th, the Our Neighborhood Welfare Task Force in Beolgyo-eup, Boseong-gun held a meeting at the Beolgyo-eup Administrative Welfare Center and selected six recipients for the living stabilization support fund.
The recipients of the support fund are at-risk households discovered through the identification of welfare blind spots, and they receive emergency support funds ranging from 200,000 to 400,000 KRW.
After the meeting, the 11 welfare task force members visited single-person households with mobility difficulties who struggle with cleaning and daily living, and carried out volunteer activities to improve their living environments.
Oh Kyung-taek, head of the Beolgyo-eup Welfare Task Force, stated, “If there are vulnerable groups in our community facing difficulties, the welfare task force members will quickly respond and come to help anytime, anywhere.”
Seon Nam-gyu, mayor of Beolgyo-eup, expressed, “I am infinitely grateful to the welfare task force members who participated in volunteer activities despite their busy work schedules,” and added, “The Beolgyo-eup Administrative Welfare Center will continue to do its best to identify welfare blind spots and resolve residents’ inconveniences.”
Meanwhile, the Our Neighborhood Welfare Task Force in Beolgyo-eup was established in 2019 and currently has 11 members who engage in house repair volunteering and monitoring at-risk households.
