Ulsan City Ulju-gun will invest over 700 million won in the 2023 trade support policy to support more than 110 local small and medium-sized enterprises.
This trade support policy is being promoted to create a stable export environment for local companies in response to the rapidly changing global trade environment.
According to export statistics from the Korea International Trade Association, Ulju-gun achieved a record high export amount of 29 billion dollars last year despite the impact of COVID-19 and the unstable trade environment.
The county plans to make every effort to maintain the export growth trend of local small and medium-sized enterprises this year through the trade support policy.
This year's projects will promote various overseas marketing initiatives targeting local SMEs in line with the resumption of overseas market entry, including ▲dispatching overseas market development teams ▲supporting group participation in overseas exhibitions ▲digital marketing ▲support for export insurance premium fees.
In particular, to support market development for export beginner companies, a new project called the ‘Global Promising Market Development Support Project’ will be implemented this year.
An Ulju-gun official stated, “Through the 2023 trade support policy, we will strive to support a stable export environment, and make every effort to strengthen the overseas marketing competitiveness of local companies by pioneering global markets and responding to export risks in unpredictable trade situations.”
