Gimhae City in Gyeongnam will provide free city bus rides to independence patriots and their families on March 1st.
According to the city, on the 104th anniversary of the March 1st Movement, presenting an Independence Patriot Certificate or a certificate for the families of independence patriots will allow free use of city buses.

For several days around March 1st, the 196 city buses on 58 routes will display the Taegeukgi flag on their fronts.
A city official stated, “We aim to honor independence patriots and their families, reflect on the significance of the 1919 March 1st Movement, and encourage citizens to participate in the Taegeukgi flag-raising campaign. The city bus Taegeukgi flag-raising campaign will continue not only on March 1st but also on other national holidays.”
