Professor Lee Seong-ho of the Department of Architecture at Dong-A University was recently appointed as the Executive Chairman of the Busan International Architecture Festival Organizing Committee.
Dong-A University announced on the 27th that Professor Lee Seong-ho was appointed as the Executive Chairman, responsible for planning and managing the project, at the regular general meeting of the '2023 Busan International Architecture Festival Organizing Committee' held at the Busan Eurasia Platform with about 60 attendees.
Professor Lee said, "I will focus my efforts so that the citizens of Busan can take pride in the city's architecture, which is dynamically growing and developing in a natural environment harmonized with the sea and mountains, and have hope for the future vision of Busan city."
The '2023 Busan International Architecture Festival' will be held from September 20 to 24 at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 1 in Haeundae, Busan, featuring exhibitions of architectural works from home and abroad, as well as lectures and experiential programs for the public.
After earning degrees from Seoul National University and the ?cole Nationale Sup?rieure d'Architecture de Paris-Belleville in France, Professor Lee joined Dong-A University as a professor in the Department of Architecture in 2007. He is also a French licensed architect (D.P.L.G.) and a member of the Korea Institute of Architects, actively involved in designing and supervising outstanding architectural works in Korea and participating in the establishment of regional and national architectural policies.
